DELABIE uses various recycled and recyclable raw materials to manufacture its products, sourced from local suppliers as close as possible to the production facility.
The body and the machined components of the mixers and taps are mostly made from brass. This material offers a double advantage since it is both durable and recyclable. The brass used by DELABIE is made up of 99% recycled material.
In addition, the hygienic accessories - and the sanitary ware range in particular - are made from stainless steel which is 50 - 65% recycled and which is also 100% recyclable.
Finally, other recyclable and/or recycled raw materials are used, such as ZAMAK and aluminium.
DELABIE, therefore, supports sustainable development and environmental protection.
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIALS
At DELABIE, the materials used are environmentally friendly. The use of heavy metals such as lead and nickel is reduced to a minimum, which allows the products to comply with the 4MS Initiative and to be certified WRAS, ACS and KTW in particular.
In its foundry in Portugal, DELABIE uses brass with the lowest possible lead content, which meets current regulations. It also uses DZR version which limits the rate of zinc discharge into the water to comply with the strictest standards and, in particular, those of Australia and the Scandinavian countries.
The materials used also comply with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).
The materials used in DELABIE's products are therefore non-hazardous and do not leach into the water.
DELABIE PRODUCTS: SUSTAINABLE USE
DELABIE'S products are specifically designed to last as long as possible, which gives them an ecological advantage, and are designed to completely negate any built-in obsolesence.
The materials used are extremely durable, and they are easy to maintain thanks, in particular, to their standardised spare parts.
Durable, reliable and easy to maintain, they are also guaranteed for 30 years.
